Well, I don’t have many pictures this week. We have been working hard and hardly working. LOL. We started school last June so we are winding down around now. The kids are finishing up most subjects except math and reading. They are working through the Spectrum test prep books so we can take our first yearly CAT test on our homeschooling journey.
We have officially completed 189 days of school. The state says 185 is required. So we are relaxing and going to finish our curriculum leisurely.
This week the girls continued their American history studies. Big Sis is learning about the Civil War. She has learned about the battles on land and is about to learn about the battles on sea. She has one chapter left in Abeka science. With math, she has a long way to go. Public school has done her no favors in the math department. We are working hard to get all the facts down.
Tadpole has been finishing up Pioneers and Patriots and enjoying it. She complete Singapore’s My Pals are Here 3A this week. She had already completed Singapore Start Up Science earlier in the year and I think that will be all for science for this year. She also is working hard on math with Big Sis.
Bubba has technically already completed one first grade curriculum with Little Hearts for His Glory. He is almost through with CLP’s 1st grade as well. He is on lesson 12 of the Reading Lesson. He will finish MCP Phonics A as well. He is working through Seton’s English 1 and Singapore Math 1a. We are dropping Abeka Math 1.
This is my only pic of the week. This is Jon working on the extra practice Singapore Math 1a book.

How nice to be winding down. I think I'm jealous. :-p We have 9 weeks left and I'm wishing we were done. Sounds like a productive week.
