We went to the local comic con here. Tadpole dressed up and had fun on a b-day party outing to it. Unfortunately, they were not prepared for the turnout and pre-sale tickets were bought out and a line. The venue could not accommodate everyone who turned up so at door tickets were sold as those leaving left new people could come in to the venue.
I did not have a good time. 5 1/2 hours standing in line in the rain holding a med bag that weighs a good 10 lbs with a nebulizer dampened my spirits.
Rule of thumb for next time. Pre-buy tickets 6 months in advance only if they have it at a larger venue and if weather looks bad call it a day early and go to the movies.
