Bubba is a boy scout now and we do 4H as well. I tend to double dip on things to get merit badges and project books complete.
Bubba had to bring dessert for his Court of Honor so we made homemade brownies and packaged brownies for our 4-H Six Easy Bites project book.

We had gotten our project books first then I went to http://www.boyscouttrail.com/boy-scouts/bsa-merit-badges.asp to line up merit badges that would work alongside the project books.
If you have a kid in multiple extras like Boy Scouts and 4H, try looking for ways to double dip and knock out 2 birds with one stone so to speak.
